I've made a couple of these vintage looking herb crates lately. I'm always looking for old boxes to experiment with and I found this little one at the thrift store for a dollar. It's the perfect size for little pots of herbs. One of you asked for the beehive graphic so I'm including it in this post. I don't remember where I got it from, I think some old clipart that I had.
I made a simple table setting for two using these fun black gingham placemats and napkins I also found out thrifting. they are perfect with my few pieces of black and white transferware.
I used to live in Utah where the beehive is the symbol of the state. This is another of my favorite beehives. It is the doorknob to the Salt Lake Temple of the Mormon church.
The beehive and the busy bees are supposed to remind us to be industrious. Thank you to my many blogging friends who share their great ideas and help keep me busy!
